NEW ~ 4” Hinged Lock Flexible Coupling with “E” Gasket for Grooved IPS Pipe We combine orders, just let us know your intent and we will invoice you with the adjusted shipping costs. Grooved Couplings as well as most other grooved fittings are general stock for us. New stock • Maximum working pressure 500 psi (34.5 bar) depending on the size and schedule of the pipe being used • 100% magnetic particle inspection of each bolt. Each bolt has a minimum tensile strength of 110,000 psi • Gaskets are pre-lubricated • Gasket Grade E EPDM (green stripe) -30°F (-34°C) to +230°F (+110°C) • Ductile iron housings conform to ASTM A-536 • Groove dimensions to AWWA C606 • Orange paint or hot dipped galvanized conforming to ASTM A153 Shurjoint Catalog Insert: The Model G-28 Hinged Grooved Coupling is designed for quick connect and disconnect services.  The housing segments are hinged with a lever handle for easy assembly. Use of the split pin can prevent the accidental opening of the coupling.  The Model G-28 can be used in a wide variety of applications with standard rolled or cut grooved pipe.  Housings 40mm - 100mm (1-1/2”- 4”) feature a smooth outer surface, housings 125mm - 300mm (5” - 12”) feature a cross-ribbed design for added strength.  The Model G-28 Couplings are recommended for service up to 20 bar (300 psi) depending on the size and wall thickness of the pipe being used. Standard gasket: Grade “E” EPDM or Grade “T” Nitrile. Standard surface finish: Black electro-deposition coated. We are a professional Pipe, Valves & Fitting Supplier.
