Thermolastic springs, unaffected by extreme temperature variations, guarantee long-term accuracy while an air dash pot absorbs shock when loads are dropped on the scale protecting the mechanism and increasing the scale life. The extra-large 15-inch (37-cmm) dial, readable from both sides, is lithographed on metal with chrome-plated sashes and stainless steel bands. 30 lb in 3 revolutions – 10 lb x 1 oz capacity. This item is new from a Commercial Restaurant Supply company. It only has the portion of the box show. It says it was produced 6/19/84 it has been on the shelf a long time. The chrome edging has some minor rust on one side in the lower corner where it was touching the cardboard, easily polished off with steel wool. The Stainless steel pan has a dent it it.
