Forney 306 130FI-A Gas/No Gas Flux Core Welder, 120-Volt, 130-Amp, Green The Forney 306 130FI MIG/Solid Wire (GMAW)/Flux Core (FCAW) Welder, 120-Volt, 130-Amp is simple to operate and ready to weld right out of the box! This machine welds up to a 1/4-Inch steel and can weld popular metals such as mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel with correct wire and gas. As our most popular unit it's also one of our lightest units at 53 Pounds. This machine is a gas/no gas unit that is easily converted for MIG (GMAW) or (FCAW) welding. Multiple voltage settings give this unit accurate heat control and works extremely well with thin metals. Convenient 120 volt input power gives this unit versatility in that you can plug it in virtually anywhere! An automatic thermal overload protection will shut the machine down if the machine experiences a surge in power or any other problems from your power input. An internal cooling fan keeps the unit cool under extreme heat conditions. The 306 MIG Welder has a Tweco type welding torch. Also included in the box is a face shield, combination chipping hammer/brush combination, welding torch, ground clamp and starter roll of flux cored welding wire. MIG weld right out of the box DC CV welding from 24 gauge to 1/4 ie.6.3 mm thickness at 40 to 130 amps output power. Tweco style MIG gun welds .024, .030 and .035 solid and flux cored welding wires. 120V, 60Hz, 1-phase input power with auto thermal overload protection to protect operator and welder. Duty Cycle: 40-Percent at 60 amps for MIG applications with correct welding wire and shielding gases.
