*Three (3) sold together Alliance's AL-1206 zone expander can be used to increase the number of zone inputs on the system, allowing each Data Gathering Panel (DGP) or control panel to support up to 32 zones. The zone expander also monitors the state of the connected sensors and provides alarm status information. The AL-1206 is an inexpensive way to increase the number of zones in an Alliance system. It includes eight standard inputs as well as a connection cable to the DGP or control panel. Each device can be expanded up to 32 zones, while the Alliance system supports up to 256 total zones. When a DGP or control panel is expanded beyond 16 zones, the system will reserve the next sequential DGP address. Zone expansion modules can be mounted in Alliance metal enclosures. Multiple or alternate configurations are available with the addition of universal mounting plates inside the enclosure.
