A high quality, economical, general-purpose large ( 300mmx300m ) hotplate direct from Maple Scientific Fully adjustable temperature with accurate thermocouple controller ( not a poor quality simmerstat controller ) from room temperature to 550c degree , highest temperature ( 550c degrees ) gives excellent boil speed time and stability . The best in the market !! The hotplate has a high quality ceramic heater , not a mica heating element as most of the other hotplates on the market , so will not burn out or lose performance after 6 months . The hotplate has a Microcrystal ceramic black top plate, which is highly chemical / acid resistant and has a higher thermo contact heat transfer than white ceramic . Perfect for efficient multi beaker , sand bath or large vessel heating ,perfect control for wafer heating or controlled heating stage applications , Ipad / SAMSUNG ETC screen repairs etc. The hotplate uses a microprocessor controller, which gives the hotplate a more accurate temperature control , +/- 1 DEGREE at 100c degrees , +/- 5 degrees at 550c degrees .
