MSA OptimAir 6A Powered Air Purifying Respirator with Mask The OptimAir 6A PAPR provides respiratory protection by filtering contaminants from ambient air and providing air flow to a facepiece or hood. It meets or exceeds NIOSH standards for air flow when used with HEPA filters. The system can be equipped with a variety of cartridges to provide protection against particulates, toxic gases, and vapors. It is ideal for use in hazardous materials cleanup, asbestos and lead paint abatement, chemical processing, foundry, smelter and coke oven applications, and nuclear facilities work. Please note that the facepiece included in this auction is government surplus and was previously used for fit testing. As a result, there may be rubber smudges and scratches on the surface of the shields. If you would like a picture of the exact face shield you will be receiving, we can provide one. There are no signs of use on these units other than the wear on the face masks. New in box facepieces are also available on our store.
