*NEW* NOS 16 Oz ( 1 Lb) Box RAINBOW CEMENT COLORS LIMEPROOF BLACK RAINBOW CEMENT COLORS have been specifically formulated for use in concrete, stucco, mortar, plaster and materials containing lime and alkalines. They are comparatively fast to sunlight, weather resistant, uniform and easily miscible in water. General recommendation is for five pounds of color per ninety four pound bag of Portland Cemetn. However, lighter pastel shades can be obtained using one to three pounds, while deeper shades may require seven to eight poinds. Never use more than ten pounds of color per bag of cement. For cleaner, brighter colors, use white Portland cement. Colors have no effect of efflorescene but make it more noticeable, especially on deeper colors. To reduce effloresence, use clean, soft water and cleaned, washed aggregate. Tamp the concrete well to insure consolidation. If it appears, wash the surface with a weak solution of muriatic acid.
