This is a new resistor in original factory packaging left as surplus from a power supply manufacturing project.  It is in perfect condition.  Usable as an adjustable bias resistor, 50 ohm dummy load, antenna termination resistor, etc.  Rated at 175 watts at 50 ohm resistance.  If placed in oil, it will dissipate more than 1000 watts.  List price from distributors above $32 + shipping on this resistor  but a bargain here at lower cost.
