The front panel design has an easy-to-read backlit LCD display which allows easy control and reading of both the speed and temperature features. A hot warning display indicates the presence of any residual heat when the unit is switched off. The unit also incorporates a stirring bar monitor that detects if the stirring bar has decoupled during high speed stirring. The heating plate is 135mm diameter and made from stainless steel for optimum heat transfer.
