BEFORE BIDDING Pictures below are of the exact item you will recieve. Brand new, in Box - never used, old stock- Has a packing slip dated 1991. The outside of the box shows it's age, but the light fixture looks new and still has the bulbs packing on it, also comes with four screws to attach the lens cover, which (screws) are still sealed in original plasic. Ericson still sells this fixture and it's called the Ericson 1000 Series SOL-FLARE, it hasn't changed over the years as far as I can tell, except our older model has a heavy duty metal box instead of the polycarbonate (plastic) they use today. The base 1000 model is pretty much the same deal as this original late 1980's era HP-001 model. It looks exactly the same as the current model. PREWIRED / READY for USE OUT OF THE BOX - with pre-attached 5 foot long heavy duty cord and 3 prong outlet, Just plug it in. Sodium lamps are just like the kind cities and towns use outside. They take a few minutes to fully warm up and reach their full brightness but when they do wow- they are BRIGHT. When you open box- remove bulb from shipping sleeve, and attach lens cover with 4 included screws. Mounting Info: Hang to any hook or attach to metal surface and it will stick with it's two built in industrial strength magnets. For use in permanent locations or portable use. 70 Watt Sodium puts out as much light as a 400 Watt incandescent.
