I labeled the picture (little confusing photo without) Versatile suit with excellent chemical resistance and durability, both for the Hazmat team and for the industrial user. Certified to the toughest standard in Europe, made in Sweden, and with an extensive reference list, it is one of the most popular suits in the Trellchem gastight suit range. Level AThe highest level of protection against vapors, gases, mists, and particles is Level A, which consists of a fully encapsulating chemical entry suit with a full-facepiece self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) or a supplied air respirator (SAR) with an escape cylinder. A crew member must also wear boots with steel toes and shanks on the outside of the suit and specially selected chemical-resistant gloves for this level of protection. The breathing apparatus is worn inside (encapsulated within) the suit. To qualify as Level A protection, an intrinsically safe two-way radio is also worn inside the suit, often incorporating voice-operated microphones and an earpiece speaker for monitoring the operations channel. Standards Certified EN 943-2/ET EN 943-1 EN 1073-2 EN 14126 SOLAS VISOR The visor is made from a rigid 2 mm impact and chemical resistant PVC and comes in two optional sizes; CV or the larger VP1. ZIPPER The standard zipper is a strong and durable gastight chloroprene rubber coated zipper. EN 943-2/ET certified suits are equipped with the Trellchem® HCR zipper, which includes a barrier film for increased chemical resistance. The zipper is closing downwards, for added safety, and is protected by a splash guard (flap). GLOVES (3) FOOT (1) 1.
