This is a NEW, NEVER USED Triplett Model 2 LoopTester Set, made in the USA with its 31 page Instruction Book-The Model 2 Loop Tester is a general purpose telephone transmission line tester with a multimeter. It was designed to provide installers and repairmen with accurate measurements. The transmission tests performed by the Model 2 include - Line loss, line noise, common mode noise (Power Influence) and DC loop current. The Multimeter has ranges for DC Volts, AC Volts and resistance. The ohmmeter selection was specially designed to provide characteristics in accordance with Bell Specification KS-8455. Colored scales on the meter are used to provide general qualitative indications. The unit is housed in a rugged plastic case with a convenient battery compartment for easy replacement of batteries. A dual purpose stand is also provided that can be configured to used to position the unit on a bench top for ease of viewing. The stand may also be removed and inserted into the other holes to aid in hanging the unit. This set is in NEW, never used condition. It needs two (2) 9 Volt alkaline batteries, which are NOT included due to postal regulations.
