The GIA 50 Premium surgical stapler with GIA 50 Premium disposable loading unit has application in abdominal, gynecological pediatric and thoracic surgery for resection, transsection and creation of anastomoses. The required cartridge (not included) contains 52 staples of .20mm stainless steel wire in double staggered rows 53mm long. The two sets of staple lines are approximatley 3.5mm apart.
