Each person in your company can have their own extension phone. They can forward these to their cell phone or let unanswered calls go to their own voice mailbox. Any standard telephone can be used. Your callers can select options from your custom menu. Callers can listen to pre-recorded announcements, they can select departments or personnel, or even dial an extension direct. Installation is easy! Connect your phone lines to the jacks on the VoicePro and plug in your existing telephones. Any phone that works by connecting it directly to a phone jack will also work with the Voice Pro. The Quick Start Programming section of the manual guides you with easy programming from any touch-tone phone. System Requirements Phones: The Voice Pro uses standard analog telephones (not included). Caller ID: If you have Caller-ID service, the VoicePro will pass the name and number to your extension phones. Line Hunt/Rollover: This is recommended so the Voice Pro will be able to receive and handle multiple callers. Three-Way Calling: The VoicePro can use this phone company feature to transfer calls to other numbers. Otherwise it can still do it by using the second line. Wiring: Your incoming lines connect the the two jacks on the back as shown below. And up to six phones can be connected to the extension jacks as shown... Back of VP206 Important: If You Have Phone Service Over Internet The VoicePro is designed for use with regular phone lines. If you have VoIP service (phone service over the Internet) you may need a compatible adapter for proper operation. Some telephony adapters are not compatible with the VoicePro. Please confirm the box your phone lines are connected to is a compatible model.
