Optical Window for 980nm Lasers This is a round glass window optic, AR coated for 980nm. It is a BRAND NEW quality item in its original box. It measures 14mm in diameter and is 1.5mm thick. When using high power cutting / burning laser diodes, windows are useful to protect the valuable focusing lens and, even more importantly, the fiber optic tip - these WILL be damaged by smoke sooner rather than later if not protected by a window.
