Newborn 515-SP Dual-Component Multi-Ratio Manual Applicator, 300 mL x 300 mL, 300 mL x 150 mL and 150 mL x 150 mL Cartridges, 20:1 Thrust Ratio Item Description Dual-component multi-ratio manual adhesive applicator for cartridges of various ratios up to 300 mL by 300 mL Thrust ratio of 20:1 for use with medium viscosity materials Push disks snap in and out for quickly changing the sizes of the adhesive cartridges Pressure release bar relieves pressure from cartridge to help prevent dripping Spout cutter built into side for opening cartridges without a knife SPECIFICATIONS The Newborn 515-SP dual- component multi-ratio manual adhesive applicator, also called a two-part or two-component applicator, can accommodate cartridges up to 300 mL x 300 mL and has a thrust ratio of 20:1 for use with medium viscosity materials. The push disks snap in and out for quickly changing the sizes of the adhesive cartridges, and the pressure release bar relieves pressure from the cartridge to help prevent dripping. A spout cutter is built into the side of the gun for opening cartridges without a knife. The applicator can accommodate cartridges with the following sizes: 300 x 300 mL, 300 mL x 150 mL, and 150x150 mL. Caulking guns, also called caulk or cartridge guns, dispense a controlled flow of products such as caulk, sealants, and adhesives from a tube or cartridge. A manual caulking gun consists of a frame which holds the tube, a trigger, and a rod which moves forward when the trigger is depressed, dispensing the product. Manual caulking guns have a thrust ratio; the higher the thrust ratio, the easier it is to dispense the caulk, sealant, or adhesive. Air-powered or pneumatic caulking guns also have a frame and a trigger, but are used with an air pressure regulator that pushes the product from the tube using air pressure instead of a rod.
