Just because this is listed as a optical device don't think its wimpy. There is a guy online with the specs, BMI surplus,  he wants $1750 for his. There is a lot of info if you look on the net, do some searches, Ill try to update this listing when I get time but this is the model before the one currently selling for 8-10 grand. its not the smaller ones you see listed, this is one of the large more expensive ones. Repeatability of at least or more .01 of a degree, not .01 if an inch, is 9x 8 inches with a roughly 6 inch hole in it, 1.1/2 thick and still weighs about 11 lbs. with a aluminum housing. Good heavy bearings and races inside. found used ones online for  about 1700 bucks. I have 2 . don't know if I am going to part with the other one yet but if you want 5 axis I might Id sell the other one, I have some smaller rotary tables I was going to use for my 5th axis but really these two are about the right size..I machine and am keeping one to build my own trunnion table. Any one that needs a trunnion table already has a mill to make the flat parts with, in a day you could build a precision trunnion table with some scraps you have in the shop. Its servo drive with encoder, and there are plenty of cheap servo drives on ebay. I guarantee the table is mechanically sound, I cant feel any play at all and there are 2 plates you can take off and look inside, but I didn't bother, the screws on the plates are anodized and it doesn't look like a wrench has ever been taken to them. I don't want to have some one wire it wrong and send it back so there are no guarantees on the servo and encoder but they were sold to me as working and I haven't tested. But I know enough to know the gears are good. I'm sure you could mount just about any motor you want on it. And considering your getting a table that cost 8-10 grand for the new model well worth the effort if it needed to be replaced but I doubt it does. You cant lose on this deal and I have great feedback. Do the research and I will  update this when I get time this table will surprise you when you find out how much weight it can handle. I just picked up a parker fadal 404 xr and with a 125 oz stepper, it delivers 175 lbs of force at the table, Unbelievable I know, but true .This style high performance line ratings are really good. not like the old crap we are used to dealing with. I think this table is made in France. 4 nice mounting holes email with any questions.
