Here's an opportunity to acquire a rare turn-key Newport motorized 3-axis system consisting of the following components: (1) UMR 8.51-XYZ stage, (3) LTA-HS Precision Motorized Actuators and (1) ESP-300 Motion Controller (with 3 axis capability.) System is fully operational and actuation is smooth when controlled either manually (i.e. by using the ESP-300 front panel) or via computer. The following from Newport: The LTA-HS High Speed Motorized Actuator is optimized for high-speed applications and provides a 50 mm travel range. LTA actuators are designed to fit into selected manual stages and other opto-mechanical components as direct replacement for manual micrometers. [Refer to the actuator compatibility table.] Features a space-saving design with the motor and lead screw mounted side-by-side. This reduces the actuator length by 50% and minimizes the unwanted effects of long cantilever loads on micro-positioning equipment. The UMR8.51 Precision Double-Row Ball Bearing Linear Stage features steel construction for high stability and rigidity. The ball bearings and precision-ground bearing surfaces provide exceptional linear travel, with angular deviation better than 100-200 µrad. UMR8 Series Stages have double-row ball bearings making them an excellent choice for carrying high loads up to 202 lb. The moving carriage is preloaded by two springs to ensure constant micrometer contact for smooth, backlash-free motion over a 2.01 inch travel range. The ESP300 is an integrated controller and driver in one chassis which simplifies system hookup and provides improved reliability. The ESP300 can drive and control up to three axes of motion using any combination of DC and/or stepper motors. Each driver module will drive 2- or 4- phase stepper and brush DC servo motors at 3 A (max.) per axis.
