Vintage New-In-Box Craftsman Atlas Universal Compound Vise / Sears Catalog No. 2432 click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge Description This is a nice original, vintage Craftsman / Atlas Universal Compound vise that has been packed away in the 1970's and never put to use. It is one of those "great survivors". The box indicates it was Sears Catalog No. 2432. New-In-Box.... New parts include the compound vise, the T-slot table jaws and all the original mounting bolts and nuts. There are some stains on the table-top as seen in the photos. I have no idea why...as this unit is unused. The box has been shuffled around and it shows. At some time, someone felt the need to write "Vise for Bridgeport" on it. And, an interesting fact shows the shipping label sent to Sears from the Clausing Corporation. I will include the original box (double boxed for shipping). I had to retape the bottom of the box.... original tape was splitting. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS BOTH ABOVE & BELOW THIS DESCRIPTION..... CONDITION: This one is in very nice condition, with some stains on the table-top. It includes the original box with some hand written notes. Please read narrative above for additional details.
