Nicolet Viking Quest NT version 5.1.0. portable EMG machine. Toshiba 4090 DVD laptop, Windows 2000 NT 4.0 operating system, 2 channels. Includes Toshiba laptop, base controller SN-MX 020147, 2 channel amp, NC stimulator(S403), foot switch, all cables, headphones for AEP in original sealed bubble -wrap (TDH-39, 300 ohm), and carrying case. Also included: Ambu Neuroline 71505-K/C single patient surface electrodes total 312, (26 sealed packets of 12). Exp dtd 10/2011 but I have continued to use them successfully ; 10 new Nicolet electrodes- 3 bar, 2 pairs of ring, 2 pairs of disc, and 3 ground electrodes; and a Nicolet small 12mm stimulator ideal for inching studies. - Viking Quest software license disk SN HL980097 of Feb 15,2000, part # 482-113200. Includes SEP, AEP, VEP. - Nicolet Windows NT recovery CD #482-113500 for use with Toshiba 4090 laptop; and Nicolet Viking Quest NT System addendum CD #482-113103 Toshiba Satellite 4090 Recovery CD-Rom(2) and Toshiba users’ manual. All 9 Nicolet Viking Quest User Manuals (new condition) and the Viking Quest Pocket Guide Please note: This is the only machine that I used in my private neurology practice as a fellowship trained electomyographer until retirement 2 years ago, and I continue to use it at a free medical clinic. The studies performed with channel 2 are of good quality, and there has never been any safety issues or technical problems with it. The original Base SN EL950180 was replaced with the above newer Base SN MX020147 about 5 years ago, so several of the soft keys on the base have been re-labeled. “This EMG is in good physical and functional condition, with the exception that channel 1 is obscured by artifact, probably from a loose connection or broken wire in the pre-amplifier. However it continues to produce excellent EMG and NCV studies with channel 2. I purchased it new from Nicolet for my solo private practice and since retirement 2 years ago, continue to use it as a volunteer neurologist at a free clinic.”
