The courseware introduces the students to alternating current generation, sine waves and AC circuit components. It teaches students to use AC test equipment on actual circuits and then reinforces AC theoretical concepts through experiments in inductance, capacitance, RL, RC, series and parallel RCL circuits and transformers. Additional topics include series and parallel resonance circuits, transients and RL filters. The Nida Model 1401 DC Industrial experiment card set is designed for use with the Nida 130E training console.The courseware introduces the students to the fundamentals of electricity. Emphasis is placed on understanindg the laws of electricity as they relate to calculations and measurements of DC voltage, current and resistance in series, parallel and combinational circuits. Additional topics include Kirchoff’s Voltage and Current Laws, Norton’s Theorem, Thevenin’s Theorem and wiring fundamentals. DC circuit values are measured by standard test equipment to ensure students acquire the skills to safely work around electronic circuits
