Has been fully tested. 14 Day Return if your not satisfied Product Description Norstar Flash 2 voicemail is compatible with 308 DR5.1, 616 DR5, 824 DR5, and all Compact ICS and Modular ICS. The Norstar Flash Voicemail is a fully automated receptionist service that offers call routing and message-taking services. Flash answers incoming calls and routes them to extensions and mailboxes in the system. Two channels provide two access paths between users and the system. Two internal users can access the system and check messages at the same time or two outside callers can have their calls answered by the auto-attendant and leave messages at the same time, or one of each at any given time. Twenty-four (24) mailboxes are provided and can be used for pre-recorded messages such as driving directions, hours, specials, etc. (in addition to standard voicemail messaging service). Maximum message storage time is 90 minutes. It may be easily and inexpensively upgraded to a 4-port, 48-mailbox, 180-minute system. Flash has Three Main Components: 1. Auto Attendant acts as a receptionist by answering incoming calls. Using a voice prompt, it plays a list of options for the caller. The caller can interrupt the message by making a selection from the dial pad of their touch-tone telephone. When a selection has been made, the auto attendant will route the call to an extension or mailbox within the system, or will direct the caller to the company directory or receptionist. 2. Mailboxes are added by the system manager and then set-up by the individual mailbox owners. Messages may be left by both inside and outside callers, and are stored until retrieved by the mailbox owner using the password entering during set-up. Mailbox owner options include: Record primary and alternate greetings (example: in office/out of office) Record owner name in the company directory Set-up and maintain off-premise message notification Receive and send messages 3. Custom Call Routing (CCR) is a single-digit access application, providing callers with a series of voice prompts and call transfer options.
