NORTHTECH cyclone dust collector & lots of spiral pipe duct. Attention cabinet makers, and wood workers. Here is a NORTH TECH 2 stage cyclone dust collector made in 2002. I believe it works just like the Grizzly, Shop Fox, or Oneida brands, but I believe much more expensive. Along with quite a bit of spiral collection duct. I purchased this from a furniture maker that went out of business, thinking I could use it in my small shop. Well it turned out to be a little bigger that I thought and I can not use it. It is in good to very good condition. It ran well when it was taken out. The bags are a bit dirty looking and they may need to be cleaned. It comes with 3, 55 gallon drums two are steel and one is plastic. It has an ON OFF magnetic starter switch box that was with it. The tag on the main body reads, NORTHTECH Industrial Machinery Model, SF-207 Motor HP 7.5 H.P. Phase 3 serial 150202, Volts 230/460 Amp. 21/11, DATE 04/2002. It is three phase but there are cheaper converter boxes on eBay if you only have single phase. It has a 9” air intake, and it approx 93” tall to the top of the motor and about 117” tall over all to the top of the bag holders. I am not sure on the weight but it is rather heavy. One can do a search on-line for dealers for this brand, that have more specs. Some identical models I’ve seen are model # NT-2ST-73. And they have 5300 cfm free air I do believe this is an fairly accurate list. Please excuse me if I am off a piece or two. Here is an approx. list of the pieces of spiral ducting. 4 pieces 9” straight pipe; 19” long, 60” long, 28” long, & 9 1/2 ’ foot long piece that has a 4” saddle Y hooked to it. 2 pieces, 9”, 90 degree elbows. One, 9”, 45 degree elbow. Wye 9”x9”x9” Wye 9”x9”x6” off shoot. 2, Wyes 9”x9”x4” off shoot. 9” to 4” reducer. 9” to 7” reducer. one piece 7” straight pipe 65” long. 3, Wyes 7”x7”x4” off shoot. 7” to 4” reducer. 2 pieces 6” straight pipe; 48” long, & 10’ foot long. 6” to 4” reducer. Wye 6”x6”x4” off shoot. One, 6”, 90 degree elbow. One, 6”, 45 degree elbow. 3 pieces, 4”, 90 degree elbows. 5 pieces, 4”, 45 degree elbow. 14 pieces 4” straight pipe; 48” long, 42” long, 54” long, 48” long, 44” long, 74” long, 80” long, 40” long, 24” long, 32” long, 54” long, 102” long, 10’foot long, & 10’foot long. And there are seven, 4” blast gates. This would make a great addition to ones larger sized shop to help suck up all that pesky dust. All this stuff new would cost several thousands of dollars.
