The Notting Nova Notcher is a high quality bench tool used to notch steel rule before it's installed onto flat or rotary die. The Nova Notcher will notch steel rule up 6 pt. creasing rule with minimum effort. Waste pieces clear through the back of the female die. Pre-bent or curved rule can be notched without obstruction, straight rule is held square by the support guide. Depth of notch produced is fully adjustable, easily done by adjusting the back gauge, maximum notch depth is 19mm (or 3/4"). This machine produces a 1/4" (6.35mm) wide notch (see notch photo, machine is currently set at 5/8" depth). Machine price includes side bar and side gauge as shown in the photos. This machine is in like new condition, it has never been used in production. New Notting Nova Notchers like this one sell for $3,100.00, making this machine an exceptional value and a great addition to any die shop or die cutting operation.
