Ohaus School Balance, SB1200, 2000g Capacity, 0.5g Readability Item Description The Ohaus SB1200 school balance is a mechanical beam balance with a capacity of 2000 g and an accuracy of 0.5 g (also called readability) that measures in grams and has a manual tare adjustment across the entire weighing range. Made of ABS plastic, this balance is durable enough to be used in primary and intermediate classroom settings. The plastic weighing pans are interchangeable, and can be removed for pouring samples, cleaning, and storing. There are dual pointers on either side of the balance base that enable students to view readings from both sides of it. This balance includes an 18-piece stackable plastic mass set for adding multiple weights that remain stable during weighing.
