This parts unit is missing the placement arm and carousel. Fortunately, the carousel is easily replaceable as it is a generic part. However, replacing the arm is a bit more challenging as it requires square aluminum tubing for the X-Y axis movement arm. This machine could be a valuable addition to a hackerspace where someone is willing to put in some time and ingenuity to finish it off. To use it as a placement machine, you will need to graft the placement head onto it from a currently produced machine to cover the Z axis movement. Alternatively, attaching a vacuum pen to the arm could achieve the same result. Note that it can still be used as a dispensing unit for epoxies or solder paste.
