This is a pretty nice original brass base Webster Type  K oscillating magneto for a hit and miss gas engine.  It has several applications in the gas engine world.  It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind.  There is very little noticeable wear in the armature bearings.   The armature seems a bit sluggish when oscillating as it binds a bit.  I think it needs to be taken apart and cleaned up and it would be just fine.   The magneto mounts to the ignitor bracket on a 2 inch square bolt pattern.  The body is in excellent condition and it has the original leadout cover on it.    It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly.  It needs a new leadout wire which is the fun part.   The trip finger is in excellent condition with very little noticeable wear.   These brass based Webster magnetos are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they are so much better than the pot metal ones so don't miss your chance on it.   It would even make a great spare on the shelf.  The pictures tell the story.  You won't be disappointed in any way.  I can always be reached at 262 573 1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  Good Luck.
