This is a rather hard to find original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine.  It is in good original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except that it needs a new fuel jet that delivers gas to the head.  This is nothing more than a small piece of copper tube in place where my finger is pointing in one of the pictures.  It also needs a sheet metal cover made for the top of the fuel reservoir.  Both needles turn as they should and the fuel pump plunger moves freely, too.  This mixer is for the earliest Z engines that had an ignitor for ignition.  It mounts to the side of the head with two 5/16 inch holes 2 inches apart on center.  It has a 1 1/8 inch intake hole and a 1 3/8 inch hole where it mounts to the head.  I'm pretty sure this is for a 6hp engine but may fit the 3hp as well.  Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application.   All of the pipe threads are in good shape and with just a very little elbow grease this carburetor will be ready to work on an engine.  These original early style carburetors hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss your chance on this one.  It will likely be a long time before another one turns up!  Let the pictures be your guide.  You won't  be disappointed in any way.  Good Luck.
