This is a rather hard to find original ignitor for a 1 1/2, 3, and 6hp International Harvester Type M gas engine.  It is in good original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind on the body or moving parts.  It is part number 8959T casted into the body and mounts with two 1/2 inch holes 2 1/2 inches apart on center.  Everything moves and functions as it should but it needs a spring and possibly a new mica tube on the stationary electrode.  These are available quite inexpensively from several of the hobby suppliers.  The points are in good shape.  There is minor wear on the movable shaft.  With a little elbow grease this should be a perfect ignitor!  These original ignitors hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss your chance on this one.  It will likely be a long time before another one turns up!  Let the pictures be your guide.  You won't  be disappointed in any way.  I can be reached at 262-573-1931 if you'd like to talk about it.  Good Luck.
