This is a real nice original brass steam engine throttle made by thWilliams Company in Cincinnati, Ohio.  It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and only has minor wrench marks on the hexes.  It has 1 1/4 inch pipe threads which are in excellent condition.  The lever or handle is about 7 1/2 inches long and has a nice Victorian look to it.  Everything works as it should and I believe it is ready to be used on an engine or other project.  These original throttles don't turn up very often so if you need one for a project don't miss this one.  It would even make a great spare on the shelf for a future project.  The pictures tell the story.  You won't be disappointed in any way.  Good Luck.
