We purchased the VP-2000 in 2007 for a clinical study that never materialized. The unit sold for $25,000 new in 2007. We purchased a OMRON factory refurbished unit directly from OMRON for $17,000.00 (see invoice in photos) in 2007. The Unit shows yes than 30 uses (Patient Tests) on the permanent log since we purchased it. It is in perfect like new condition, tested & guaranteed to function as stated. For Dr Office/Hospital settings Medicare will reimburse $80-$234 per test(see photo with reimbursement per state example). For Alternative & Integrative Health care providers This unit will accurately measure vascular elasticity of the cardiovascular system & statistically compare it to “age-based” statistical averages. You can show your patients the “Actual AGE” of there cardiovascular system. We found some manufactures of Anti-Aging supplements have used the VP-2000 to show patients they can increase their vascular elasticity and actually reduce the actual apparent age of their cardiovascular system. Arterial pulse wave velocity is measured simultaneously and bilaterally by the Colin system. Using its unique multihead pressure transducers PWV for carotid-heart, carotid-femoral (cf), brachial-heart, heart-femoral, femoral-ankle, and brachial-ankle (ba) are recorded and EKG-gated to a single heart beat.
