Metal Surface Inspection Plate Made by OMT Probably from the 1960s The top measures 15" by 30" It is 5" tall. The base is 32" long: there is a 1" flange on each end. It has a T-slot that runs down the center. It is possible that this plate was used for jig setup on top of a larger table. (I'm not sure how this was actually used). It has a wood cover that fits snugly over the top for protection when not in use. It probably weighs over 350 pounds.  It has no rust. I slid a parallel bar across it and it seem to be very flat. It is not inspected and I did not take any surface measurements. There is still some oily residue in the t-slot. Contact me with question. Feel free to provide more info if you know more about how this is used in the machine shop. Only the plate and the cover are for sale. Other items, like the wheeled cart under the plate in the photos and the trash can, are not for sale in this listing. Photos show actual item. Local pickup only. Located in Spring Hill, TN.
