Up for sale One PRECISION TEST CELL FOR LIQUID INSULANTS.This complete test cell measures accurately the dielectric properties of liquid insulants such as insulating oil,solvents & non-viscous chemicals. It determines the dissipation factor "tan?" and the dielectric constant as well as the specific resistivity.The cell is designed as a cylindrical capacitor with the tested liquid as an insulant & its two electrodes have a shielded guard to avoid partial capacitance. The measurements may be conducted at either constant or varying temperatures in an oven-controlled or an oil-immersed tank.A thermometer hole in the center core provides an accurate measurement of temperature. The thermometer is not included. The cell is functioning & in a good physical condition with some minor surface scratches & several chips in the two glass insulators (See last photo) .These cells are sold AS IS. The approx. measurement about 7.5" High with shield down,O.D. 2",O.D. of Inner Electrode 1.5",O.D. Collar 3" and weighs approx. 5 pounds. Note : During the use of this cell,the glass disk-insulators had to be changed several times.Therefore,It is highly recommended to replace them with disks made of Teflon (PTFE). If you are not fully satisfied,we will refund only the cost of the cells.Shipping & handling both ways are the responsibility of the buyer.
