NEW Optex EX-35T Indoor Wired motion detector passive infrared dual pattern Wide Angle 35'x35', Long Range 55'x5.5' with Tamper Switch The Optex EX-35T is a wired Passive Infra-Red (PIR) motion detector featuring a 35x35 / 55x5.5 ft. coverage area, and a tamper switch. The EX-35 combines a unique dual purpose lens, patented multi-focus technology and selectable sensitivity to create 4 precise detection pattern selections. The EX-35 breaks the mold of low cost, quality deficient detectors. You can select between precise wide angle or long range coverage, and also multilevel or pet alley detection patterns. By incorporating multi-focus technology into the spherically designed lens, the EX-35 has successfully eliminated sensitivity problems caused by changes in detections patterns. Spherical Fresnel Lens Design Spherical lens provides a precise focal length to each of the multiple lens segments (uniform distance between each lens segment and the pyroelectric elements). This enable each lens segment to face precisely towards its detection area, and creates detection zones without distortion, achieving a new level in lens design precision. The spherical fresnel lens differs from the conventional flat fresnel lens in that the distance between the lens and the pyro-electric elements is the same across the entire lens (the focal length is always the same). It therefore collects infra-red rays more efficiently. Each focused image (detection zone) has sharply defined edges (=accurate sensitivity) and it produces the maximum signal contrast against the background area (=high detection performance). This sharp focus provides the maximum signal power to the detector, compared to a weak, sluggish signal created by a poorly focused zone. Selectable Detection Patterns The EX-35 provides reliable and precise detection performance. By simply rotating the spherical lens, you can select between wide angle and long range detection patterns. Furthermore, the multi-level and pet alley detection patterns can be selected by simply sliding the P.C.B. up or down. Patented Multi-Focus Lens Creates zones with high level vertical density, providing maximum detection sensitivity that remains stable even in high temperature conditions. False Alarm Detection Offers R.F.I. protection (no alarm at 20V/m from 100 MHz to 1 GHz), temperature protection (no alarm during temperature changes from -4 to +122 degree F (-20 to +50 degree C)), noise reduction circuit, selectable pulse count of 2 or 4, tamper switch, and LED On/Off switch.
