For sale is a Dr. STEEG & REUTER Graduated rotating optical mount.These mounts are usually used for the support and orientation of Soleil-Babinet Compensators, polarizing prisms and retarders,etc. The aperture has a 23.5 mm diameter on the face side and a diam. of 15mm on the opposite side. The circles are supplied with a mounting post 16 mm in diameter. The outer diameter is 140 mm. The circle is divided into twice 90 one-degree-divisions [one series clockwise and the other one counter-clockwise.] marked from 0 to 90. The adjusted position can be read to an accuracy of 6 minutes of arc at two opposite verniers. Please look at the pictures. The stage is as good as new.Graduations are sharp and movement smooth.
