The photocell in this device responds to the envelope of a changing signal, making it preferable to photodiodes found in other couplers. It has a huge dynamic range and is widely used in audio level controls, expanders/noise gates, guitar tremolo effects, guitar amplifiers, and musical instrument effect boxes. The photocell has a resistance range of 150K up to megohms when the LED is off and less than 400ohms when the LED is on. Introducing the Analog Opto-coupler, featuring the OptoCoupler, Analog Photocell, and High dynamic range x2. This device comes in a 4 pin 5mm case and is available in a lot size of 2 units. With a resistance ratio of over 100,000:1, the LED-to-photoresistor output is purely resistive. It also features a photcell with light-averaging characteristics, making it ideal for use in audio applications such as audio compressors, limiters, and musical instruments. For international shipments, online tracking is not available unless you choose registered mail. International transit times can be delayed by local customs backlogs and can take 6-28 business days.
