Won the bid,at a govt.upgrade auction,for a small skid of consumables,that they no longer needed, because of upgrading their equipment!Box was clean,and easy to open,and inspect the two OEM bags of 400gr.developer inside;As listed above,these are the known digital copiers,that these bags of developer,are installed into,by a technician!Normally this DV is installed,at the same time,that the average yield of the photoreceptor/drum,that comes up,around 400-500K,or three years.That is the average life of the DV,before it starts losing its electrical charge,that aids in carrying the toner,to the copy paper! Pitney Bowes,and other manufacturers retailed this consumable for approx.$330.,and takes both bags,to be installed in the copier,at the end of their estimated life;No office supplies list this consumable on their sites,or in the catalogs,since a service tech,is needed to vacuum out the old worn out DV,and perform settings needed by them,to set the proper ratio of it to mix with the toner;Found numerous links on the internet,mostly with P.B.was postage machines,but found the copiers,too!Selling from $65.per bag,to $220.,for a entire box,of two bags,plus approx.$20.freight! Ebay,only had three listings,two with just the two bags,no box,and one,plus mine,that is in the OEM box,with the two bags of DV;The other seller is asking for $220.,w/free freight,which should be costing the seller approx.$26.50,to ship,with the weight of the DV & box. No stickers ,labels or writing on the box,so,can be resold or installed! No returns are requested,since the OEM bags,are still sealed from factory!My listing,is alot less,and at the cost,of what I mentioned earlier!Another feature,is my "Make Offer"button,for those who have these copiers,but are being affected by the recession,and would like to make a deal?These copiers were introduced to the Americas around 1998-2000 time span!Costing their users around a 20th of a penny for each page;Since then,manufacturers have raised their cost per page,substantially,and the life of the copier,is not feasible,after three years,since they are put together so,cheaply!Something,to think about!
