Tested, in good, working condition. Not dirty (read below). No sales tax to any state. Free shipping includes to Alaska and Hawaii. The cost of this item is higher than most because it is a relatively rare larger and heavier high quality unit than lessor capacity ones on eBay. It may be the last heavy duty commercial model that Panasonic made. The original new retail price was as high as $300. It appears to be lightly used and it is fairly clean. The manufacturer recommendation is to only use "heavy duty" 3/8-inch staples, which may be to properly perform to the specified maximum number of sheets of paper but I wonder if shorter staples can also be used. I am including an additional box of 3,000 3/8" staples that are labeled "High Capacity" but I don't know if they are also considered "heavy duty." The button on the top rear releases the staple-holder tray that you pull out from the front to load with one hand (the staples are just dropped in, you don't have to pull and hold a spring) and the tray is "captured," that is, it cannot be pulled free of the unit thereby reducing operator error, another example of good design.
