Paper drill machine, multi-head, Lawson slotter Machine does drilling and slotting with slotting attachment not included. Two motors used. One to drive the drill heads and one to drive head rail. Three drill heads come with this machine. One needs work on the drill positioning control. Machine was designed for 10 heads. A hand brake applies power to the drill motor fly wheel. A chip conveyor removes chips from the drills and deposites them down a column to be collected in the cabinet. There are four modes of operation: continuous, down, up and inch. Also, forward & reverse. Two handwheels control the backguage and head rail adjustment. The head rail should only be used when using drills shorter then 3.25" A foot treddle activates the machine. This machine designed with heavy duty cast iron components. Shows no alterations and no wear on wearing surfaces. Some rust accumulated which was removed. Unit was powered up and tested.
