Philips LCD 6-digit segment character display panels, 2.5" x 1.25" 115/box Prev Stop Play Next Buy 'em by the box and save! New LCD character displays.  Less than $1.50 per piece! Available as very inexpensive character panel replacement or for repurposing in DIY garage electronics/ engineering projects. Wire up a digital readout for whatever you want. This inventory closeout on NIB vintage Philips LCD 6-digit segment character display panels provides a great opportunity to tinker with and improve your devices.  These monochrome panels have 2.5 inches  x  .70 inches viewing area, with 2.75 by 1.30 by .250 inches total part dimensions. Parts have 50 pins (25/side), Philips branded w/PN: LPH 1482-1, D/C 8922 Alternate part number sticker:  Amperex 4-20251-2. These 6-character displays were made in Hong Kong.  Each display unit still has its protective cling-film cover for consumer removal. They have never been used, and have been stored in their original packaging since manufacture d/c 8922. Stored in foam packing to protect the leads. They have not been tested so we are selling them in at deep discount in box lots of 115 pieces. Online DIY component hackers and imaginative repurposing innovators have shown how these parts can be connected with original pin assignments for a variety of specialized display panel uses.
