PhotoBrasive Systems Glide-Thru Carver Sandblasting Equipment Package PhotoBrasive Systems Glide-Thru Carver Professional Sandcarving Equipment (Now known as Ikonics makers of Crystal Blast) PT 100 Sidekick (100 lb) Pressure Pot with foot pedal Cyclone Dust Collector Husky 6.5 HP/240Volt Air Compressor with 60 gallon ASME Tank. This unit was designed for PhotoBrasive by Norm & Ruth Dobbins, internationally know glass etching artists and instructors. It is a unique system. Designed from the ground up to allow the operator to efficiently work on either small or large pieces of glass, crystal, stone, ceramics, metal or wood. Cabinet has two light fixtures inside, one front foor with gloved openings and two pass-through side doors with extension arms (roller attachments) to support large pieces to be blasted. The Dust Collector is made by Cyclone and allows you to work with minimal dust. The PT 100 Sidekick is the actual blaster that gives your medium the pressure you want to blast. It operates with a foot pedal as the on/off mechanism for the blasting process. Pressure pot systems are very effective for larger production runs and, on average, blast four times faster than siphon systems. The use of compressed air is much more efficient and enables you to rapidly sandblast your surfaces at 25-30 psi. In addition, the power of a pressure pot is perfect for multi-level sandcarving or deep etching. For low pressure blasting, the PT-100 is equipped with a locking top, making it ideal for shading techniques. This pressure pot kit provides excellent control for virtually all sandblast applications and the increased efficiency reduces your overall blasting time. All equipment is in good working order.
