When an operator places one of our patented door chocks in a door, they can be 100% confident that their means of egress will not be compromised. Our eye-catching door chocks also inform other team members that someone is already tasked to that particular room, or someone is still located in the room. This significantly improves accountability and efficiency between teams and departments. We offer the ONLY patented door chock that allows an operator to attach a tag or search line to the door chock to prevent the line from becoming compromised, and providing the operator with a correct, clear means of withdrawal. Each chock is hand-made from 36,000 psi structural steel and is guaranteed for life! Customers have also used them for ventilation, that pesky alarm room door that always self-locks, and safely securing garage doors. The uses are endless! How Do They Work? The rear hook on the Single Diamond Door Chock slides over the hinge on most residential doors and safely prevents the operators route from being compromised. The open diamond design also allows the operator to attach a tag or search line securely to the chock. The Double Diamond Door Chock is designed to work with hydraulic or pneumatic pin hinge doors. The chock is inserted by rotating 90 degrees, inserting between the door and door frame, and then rotating back to it's horizontal position and resting on the bottom hinge. This secures the door, provides an attachable point for the tag or search lines, and informs other personnel that a team is still operating in the room.
