FESTO Pipe and Tubing Cutter ZRS 7658 Pipe and tubing cutter ZRS 7658 Tube cutter Type ZRS with 2 spare blades Manufactured by FESTO ELECTRIC This cutter is used for cutting plastic and Perbunan tubing rubber tubing with outer diameter of up to to 0.78" (20mm) outside diameter,and for cutting and chamfering plastic-coated alloy tubes PM-4 and PM-6. It is not suitable for tubing with metal braiding. It is not suitable for tubing with metal casing. It also has an integrated safety catch to prevent unauthorized opening. Warning Due to movements of the tubing cutter when in use,the stop fixture 3 of the ZRS may become lose. The functioning of the stop fixture must be checked at regular intervals. Notes regarding use Preparing the fitting of the plug connector of the PM tubing: Press the end of the tube with short rotary movements into the conical bore. The ends of the tubing will then be chamfered. Changing the special blade: 1. Loosen the fastening screws. 2. Replace the blade. 3. Tighten the fastening screws again. Avoiding unintentional opening: Check regularly the back pressure required for reliable closing on the stop fixture 3. If required,unscrew the adjusting screw 4 of the stop fixture, until the back pressure guarantees reliable closing of the ZRS.
