Jean-Paul Gaultier Puts the Squeeze on Piper-Heidsieck..... Call it "brut couture." French fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, perhaps best known for dressing Madonna in a "cone bra" during her Blond Ambition tour in 1990, has laced up Piper-Heidsieck Champagne in a corset.Putting a twist on Champagne's seductive image, Gaultier has designed a new outfit for Piper-Heidsieck that should turn anyone's head. A fire-engine-red vinyl corset with black laces, signed by Gaultier, clings to the curves of the bottle, revealing a hint of the black glass underneath. From 1999. This bottle is empty and was used as a display piece at a liquor store and then as a display piece in my corset collection. The laces do need a bit of dusting or washing but I figure you could do that yourself as you may want to take the corset off and put it on a fresh bottle of Piper for this New Years. Makes a great unique gift for your loved one or add it to your own collection!
