All models feature a 9 blade dual-chamber motor that provides controllable power for virtually any application, and produce high output torque and faster rundown speeds. Its oil-free operation means you never have to lubricate the motor, and a thumb-operated reverse lever changes the direction quickly and easily. The efficient 2 blade pulse unit provides for excellent repeatability from joint to joint. These twin blades generate higher torque with lighter weight for a better power-to-weight ratio. The ergonomic design reduces vibration and increases operator control, plus the molded comfort grip insulates the hand from cold generated by exhaust air. Our specially designed cooling system helps to prolong the like of the tool while 360° rotatable silencer keeps the noise level extremely low. Sioux tools come in pistol grip, straight and right angle models. They also come in non-shutoff and mechanical shut off units. The torque can be easily adjusted without having to disassemble the tool. Simply remove a set screw on the front housing, rotate the anvil to expose the adjustment screw, and use a Hex wrench to increase or decrease the torque. A properly adjusted shutoff provides outstanding repeatability that makes it virtually impossible to over-torque. This means fewer stripped and broken fastener, resulting in increased productivity and less rework. The hydraulic pulse unit nearly absorbs all of the torque reaction normally felt by the operator. The built in torque adjuster adapts to each application for required torque and fastening time, reducing mean shift between hard and soft joints.
