Precision Medical EasyPulse Five Oxygen Regulator has patented Controlled Minute Volume (CMV) oxygen conserving technology which delivers a pulse algorithm wave form, superior trigger sensitivity and fast delivery time. Single dial control and the ergonomically designed T-Handle/Hand Tight nut make setting and connecting it easy for any patient. Features: Precision Medical EasyPulse Five Oxygen Conserving Regulator is the smallest and lightest oxygen conserver Used to regulate high pressure cylinders that provide supplemental oxygen to patients who may have difficulty extracting oxygen from the air they breathe Proven pneumatic reliability, robust design and no batteries required Delivers 100% oxygen at flow settings Intended to be used as an oxygen saving device that reduces the drying of the airways Accomplished pneumatically with a single lumen cannula Conserving ratio: up to 5.7 to 1 More Information: ·  Principles of Operation: - The Oxygen Conserver is designed to be used with high-pressure oxygen systems. It consists of a cylinder connection, cylinder contents gauge (if equipped), high-to-low pressure regulator, orifice plate and a conserving demand module. The regulator reduces the high pressure of the cylinder to the working pressure of the orifice plate. The orifice plate uses calibrated orifices to deliver a selected flow to the conserving demand module. The conserving demand module controls the pulse size and timing to the patient. It supplies a pulse of oxygen at the beginning of each breath. This reduces the oxygen demand on the system and limits the drying of the airways. The flow is determined by setting the flow control knob to the prescribed flow. The oxygen is supplied to the patient through the cannula ·  Maintenance and Cleaning: - Disconnect all connections before cleaning  - After each use, clean exterior of the Conserver with a cloth dampened with mild detergent and water  - Wipe dry with a clean cloth  - Store the Conserver in a clean area free from grease, oil, and other sources of contamination ·  Caution:- DO NOT use cleaning solutions  - DO NOT immerse the Conserver in any kind of liquid  - DO NOT attempt to repair the EasyPulse5 Oxygen Conserving Regulator - All repairs must be performed by Precision Medical, Inc Specification: Dimensions 4.8"L x 2.6"W x 2.5"H (12.1cm x 6.8cm x 6.4cm) Weight 9.86oz (.28kg) Inlet Pressure Range 300 psig to 3000 psig (2068 to 20684 kPa) Operating Altitude Range Sea level to 10,000ft above sea level (Sea level to 3,048m above sea level) Pulse Settings 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Flow Settings 2 lpm Continuous Cannula Requirements Maximum 7ft long adult standard single lumen oxygen nasal cannula Oxygen Cylinder Connections CGA 870 Post Valve Savings Ratio Up to 5.7 : 1             Legal disclaimer: (eBay requires seller to put the following text in medical-related item descriptions, but you can ignore this because the FDA requires a prescription for the oxygen tank that this regulator is used for.
