The ETI-1 Digital Thermostat is a compact, solid state temperature measurement and display device designed especially for the elec- troplating industry. The ETI-1 measures temperature with a laser trimmed 2000 ohm RTD contained in a fluoropolymer covered stainless steel probe. The signal from the RTD is conditioned and sent through an analog to digital converter and is indicated on a 21/2 digit LED display. The numerals are 1/2” high, 1/4” wide, which makes the digital display easy to read at a distance. The ETI-1 measures temperatures between 0o-250oF with resolution of 1o, and delivers accuracy of +/-2o of ac- tual temperature. The digital thermometer is housed in a flame retar- dant polypropylene case. The solid state electronic design makes the thermometer very resistant to shock and vibration that normally would have an adverse effect on mercury or alcohol thermometers.
