American Optical Co., Philadelphia, 1940.   Book Condition: Near Fine.  Illustrated. 8vo. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt stamped titles. In a light blue paper covered slipcase. The slipcase is in good condition.  Highly interesting test checking for color blindness, 46 color plates mounted on a black accordion board that folds neatly into the black covers with gold lettering. a pamphlet explaining the process is tucked into a sleeve on the verso of cover. 1940, the color inks were produced by IPI, the picture of various color dots with a letter or figure hidden into it was engraved and printed by the Beck Engraving Co. of Philadelphia.
