The D'GEL cable gel solvent has a dielectric strength of 29 kv, flash point of 161В°F TCC, HMIS rating of 1, 2, 0, B, Kh value of 24, NFPA rating of 1, 2, 0, faint citrus odor, specific gravity of 0.79 @ 68В°F (20В°C), and VOC of 761 g/l. To apply, wipe the D'GEL solvent onto the cable using a saturated cloth, towel, or brush. Wipe from the cable jacket towards the conductor and expose a clean surface area before each successive wipe. Once applied, allow the D'GEL solvent to evaporate (air dry) or wipe dry with a lint-free cloth. For more extensive cleaning, pour the D'GEL solvent into a secondary metal or chemical-resistant plastic container and submerge the area of the cable to be cleaned. Then, remove the cable from the container and air dry or wipe off any residue using a lint-free cloth. Repeat the process with clean D'GEL for each cable being cleaned. This cable gel solvent effectively removes gels and oils from fiber optic cables, copper cables, and tools. It is also capable of removing other substances such as blocking, flooding, filling compounds, grease, tar, and oil. The D'GEL cable gel solvent is also suitable for removing petroleum, polyethylene, and silicone-based gels. This product is preferred by telecom workers and has a flash point above 140В°F (60В°C).
