The CaptivAir Max is used to capture & adsorb fumes; it is designed for large format solvent inkjet printers. The Captivair allows you to print in locations previously considered "off limits" such as malls, commercial office space and other locations where odor and fumes are not tolerated or impossible to vent. The Captivair uses a small air purification box and hood to remove VOC's as the plotter lays the ink. With this unit, fumes are drawn through a Purex Solvent-Lock filter which utilizes a specialized blend of filter media to adsorb and oxidize the solvent safely before clean air is returned to the workplace.
